I like that the base was preassembled, however it would have been nicer if it had been assembled so that it was square. The one I received had almost a 1/8” difference in height of the spoil board. Either the spoil board or the chart on it isn’t square, the numbers at the top of the board are almost cut off.The device uses ribbons to move on the x-y axis, which work well enough. It can easily be moved manually, which means making sure it can’t be bumped during the cutting.The z-axis is somewhat flimsy and can allow the bit to vary in depth as it cuts. If you have a path which crosses a previously cut path, you’ll notice it drop too the height it should be. This is partly playing with the cut settings as well.Over all, I feel it’s a great value for the price.

I had never used this type of machine before but have done my artwork with hand tools. This product works really well, once you get it set up and running well. Tech support is very limited but just plan on spending a lot of time on the internet for help and ideas if you plan to get creative. So far, it is working well but you will have to experiment with different software if you really want to try different things.

This kit arrived on time., The packaging was excellent. The assembly was easy as long as you put everything together loosely. The stepper motors are not very powerful so the final adjustments to make sure the kit is square are critical. I used a torque screwdriver for final assembly. If you are out of alignment the motors will seize and start to grind. The parts are 98% finished they need to be cleaned and holes need to be deburred etc. I used a light machine oil to lubricate the moving parts. Assembly took 2.5 hrs and everything worked on the first try.
